In April of 2020, the Berks County Commissioners held several remote press conferences to update the public on the County’s response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Normally produced on behalf of the County by Berks County Community Television (BCTV), Hugg Media Group was contracted by BCTV to produce the remote press conferences due to our unique ability to broadcast high quality video remotely via 4G LTE cell bonding technology.
The press conferences were simulcast on TV via BCTV and on the County’s various social media channels.
April 13, 2020 – Berks County Commissioners unveil new campaign and website titled “Do Your Part, Stop The Spread”.
April 17, 2020 – Berks County Commissioners host a press conference at Weaver’s Hardware in Fleetwood to present new COVID-19 modeling data.
April 28, 2020 – Berks County Commissioners COVID-19 press conference on Latino/Minority Communities held at Centro Hispano in downtown Reading.
